WELCOME AT BIRCH HAVEN BY THE BEACH

Private cottage rental-vacation accommodation for family, couples or singles, seeking a restful getaway or for those who love ( skiing, golfing, snowmobiling, cross-country, fishing, hunting, etc) or contractors.

We are conveniently located in the middle of Wasaga Beach less than 5 minutes’ walk to the beach, park, river, marina, shopping (coffee shop, fast-food, restaurants, etc.) between two provincial parks: Beach area 4 & 5. Both have walking/biking trails, picnic tables, playgrounds and offer full access to the beach. Park 5 has swings and slides. Park 4 has climbing platforms and slides.

Around the corner on Mosley St., you'll find: shops, laundromat, restaurants and fast food outlets like Tim Horton's, Topper’s Pizza and McDonald's, also a bank, Dollar Store, Convenience store.

Two blocks to the left (East) you will be on the bridge overlooking the Nottawasaga River and one of two marinas.

A few blocks to the right (West) on Mosley St. is YMCA with indoor swimming pool (23m/4 lines), RecPlex Center, outdoor rink, and LCBO, Shopper Drug Mart, several other delightful restaurants.

The spacious treed grounds of Birch Haven and comfortable accommodations provide a welcome getaway for you not only in summer but in the fall, winter and spring as well.

Birch Haven is located 1.5 hours from Toronto, 30 minutes from Blue Mountain Ski Resort near Collingwood, 30 minutes from Midland and Barrie.

Birch Haven by the Beach offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages, very clean, cozy, comfortable, affordable and friendly atmosphere.

All units are winterized and available all seasons.

For winter sports enthusiasts we have a heated garage to wax your skis and great off-season pricing;  Pets are welcome in the off-season only.

 

RATES:

The rate is based on a maximum of 2 people per bed, size of cottage, upgrade
Parking for 1 car per unit is included.
All rates are current but are subject to change without notice.
All rates subject to taxes (13% HST).
Discount for repetitive customer.
20% discount for Valentine day, Easter.
Please inquire regarding vacancy, linen, rental rates and discounts.
Special price is available for contractors, golfers, fisherman, snowmobilers, skiers.
 

DEPOSIT:

$200.00 deposit for all weekly rent is required. All reservation could be made cash, check (if bounced check a fee of $30 applies), credit or visa card.
No refund within 45 days of booked date. Prior to that 50% admin fee will applied.
The deposit for long weekend reservation must be made with a visa card or cash.
For long weekend minimum stay required and no cancellations or refunds.
 

POLICIES AND REGULATIONS

• Parking on property for vehicles of registered guests only
• Management approved additional overnight guests and vehicles must be registered
• No unauthorized visitors allowed anywhere on the property at anytime
• If you have less people booked in your unit than is the maximum for that cottage, it is possible to have additional guests register by the day or week. To avoid disappointment, please ask about this in advance. Together, we can discuss arrangements for having them register as well as any additional charges which may apply.
• No smoking inside units & absolutely no use of candles ($100 fine will apply)
• Do not flush diapers, sanitary product or tampons down the toilets. Damaged caused by any foreign objects will be deducted from security deposit.
• Damage deposit is forfeited if smoke detectors are found disabled or tempered with in any way. The same applies to fire extinguishers being discharged without cause.
• Removing screens or windows to gain access to the cottage, is $200 fee and the occupant(s) being ask to leave the property.
• BBQ must be used a minimum of 5 feet away from cottage
• Respect other guests.
• Noise restriction after 11:30 p.m. or before 8 a.m, By-Law enforced. Rowdy behavior will not be tolerated.
• No excessive alcohol drinking, no underage drinking and NO illegal drugs on the property
• Property items of Birch Haven by the Beach supplied with your cottage rental must not be taken off the property at any time.
• Registrants are responsible for reimbursement or replacement of any accidental or willfully damaged or missing property
• Registrants accept all personal risk on property use. Management  shall not be held liable for damages or injuries as a result of negligence caused by patrons
• Please take all personal belongings with you on departure. Management shall not be held responsible for lost articles
• On departure, please leave cottages as initially found and in their originally clean condition. A cleaning fee will apply for any above and beyond the normal cleaning
• Please return key to office on departure
• 50 replacement cost will apply for lost key
