Every Christmas 104.1 The Dock & Pure Country 106 help the less fortunate in our area have a brighter Christmas. This year marks the 6th year for Feeding Families, our initiative that helps raise food donations in different locations throughout Simcoe County. In previous years our Dock & Pure announcers travelled from community to community in Simcoe County collecting food and cash donations that stayed in those respective communities. This is a tradition we will continue this year despite Covid-19 and are honoured to do it together for the sixth time.

It'll look a little different this year as we'll be broadcasting live from various food banks in Simcoe County.

Due to covid, food banks are experiencing extra challenging times with reduced staff and the fact that most are looking for online donations as opposed to food donations and we wanted to make it easier than ever for you to donate to your community food bank.

The Dock will be at the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank on Thursday, December 3 from 1PM - 4PM. This event is sponsored by the Real Canadian Superstore Wasaga Beach.
