John Hattie is an internationally respected educational researcher from New Zealand who has worked across Canada and around the world. He worked for 15 yrs on a major project analyzing 800 individual studies to identify key influences in student achievement, including school size and concluded that the optimal size for learning success is between 600-900 students. Currently Wasaga Beach buses 760 high school students out of our community each day.
