The Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank is currently in need of cereal - both hot and cold, cat food, crackers, apple juice, pancake syrup and instant coffee.
If you are able to donate, please drop by the food bank, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM to 1PM and Thursday evenings from 6:30P to 8:00PM.
The food bank is located at 818 Mosley Street, in the same plaza as Canada Post.
Boston Pizza is doing it again! They are raising money for the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank selling paper hearts for $2.00 during the month of February. As well $1.00 from each mint chocolate cake dessert sold in February will go to the food bank. On February 14, $1.00 from each heart shaped pizza will also be donated to the food bank. Thanks to Boston Pizza for giving from the heart!
The Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank does not accept clothing donations, as we don't have the space.
However, the Lighthouse Church at 800 Sunnidale Road is currently accepting: t-shirts, pullovers, sweaters, jeans and joggers. Also accepted are shoes, boots and winter coats.
All items must be laundered, current and in great condition.
Donations can be dropped off during Clothing Store hours. Please do not leave your donations outside the door.
