About Us

Welcome to River Road Animal Hospital. Our clinic is on the east side of Wasaga in a country setting with room to walk and play with our patients. We have been providing complete veterinary care since 1998 and are dedicated to providing the best for your pet’s health.

Our animal hospital is equipped with a surgical suite, DR digital and dental X ray, in house laboratory and dentistry facilities. We provide annual examinations, preventative health care, emergency health care, nutrition counseling, medical, surgical and dental care.

Our caring team of Dr Kelly Volmers, Dr Carly Telfer, Dr. Laura Coulter our four veterinary technicians and friendly receptionists are here to provide up to date, compassionate and comprehensive care for your companions. We promote better animal health by stressing the importance of preventive health care to strive for the animal’s optimal condition. We use AAHA guidelines for vaccines protocol for best level of protection and safety for your pet.

By monitoring the local area for current parasites, infectious diseases and health risks, we are able to provide advice for preventative health. By doing so, we have found Giardia in dog populated areas and have sent ticks for testing to monitor for Lyme disease and other tick borne diseases.
