Whenever we are in Elmvale we always go to Pieces of Olde for lunch. Good food and service. If we have room for dessert there is always something tasty.

If you haven't been to Pieces of Olde yet, I suggest you stop in to sample the fresh-baked pies - they're incredibly good... Jill's blueberry pie was so delicious I had to go back for seconds! I've heard the tea biscuits are pretty awesome too - apparently they're a meal in themselves and the technique to use is to butter the first half like a sandwich and spread jam on the second half for dessert (thanks for the tip Debra!)... The hospitality was friendly and genuine, and the atmosphere was warm, yet open... I love the umbrellas hanging from the ceiling - adds a neat feel to the room... Didn't have a chance to check out the gifts and home stuff too much, but I heard lots of comments about the bedding being adorable... :-) Looking forward to my next visit - thanks for the great evening Jill & company - you're doing an awesome job!
